SORRY, I AM NOT SORRY
Sorry, but I’m not sorry!
In my experiences, I have come to realize that there are some people who want you to apologize for who you are and be ashamed of being successful. They say things like, “she is doing too much” or “why do you have to show off”. Well, I can honestly say that I am not sorry! I am not sorry for evolving into a successful business woman, a loving mother, an honorable wife and a loyal friend. It is my accomplishments that I share with the world, that inspire others to an ambitious level of dreaming. Sharing my world, brings a sense of hope to some people, that was not there, until they hear MY story.
We all make mistakes; I embrace the lessons that were learned through all the wrong decisions. Those times when I received eviction notices, cut offs and warning letters, have taught me to pay my bills ON TIME!!! The people I dated, who hurt my feelings, mistreated, or used me, have taught me how to be a good woman & loyal wife. The inconsistent business relationships and poor customer service from “back in the day”, have given me the opportunity to pour my love into my clients and customers. The struggle of watching my daughter blossom from my little baby, into a beautiful young lady, has taught me to be the loving mother I am today. These life lessons have turned into life achievements, that I am honored to share!
Never apologize for your success!!! Anyone who is uncomfortable with your personal or professional development is someone who should not have access to your life. Removing yourself from negative statements or situations will always improve your quality of life. Pay no attention to people who try to remind you of your past, or of things you have done. Always remember that your past does not dictate who you are and neither do the people attempting to “call you out”. Never be sorry for your past!!!! All you can do is press forward to improve your future!!!
So do not apologize for your success!!!! Do not dumb yourself down to make others comfortable!!!! Hold your head high and keep progressing!!!!!
